Ashford Oaks is a wonderful neighborhood nestled in the sweet spot between Washington, DC and Southern Maryland.  Located 26 miles south of the heart of Washington, DC, Ashford Oaks is one of the most desirable communities in Charles County due to its accessibility to the great hospitals, education systems, shopping, historical landmarks, outdoor recreation, and much more.

 

Ashford Oaks is a community of 411 single family homes, and it boasts one of the lowest HOA fees in Charles County.  With a fairly high contingent of military and government personnel, the neighborhood is attractive to many because it is close to commuter lots for public transportation, and it is located right off route 228 which provides quick access to our neighbors in DC.

 

The neighborhood is just outside Waldorf, MD, which means there is access to big name shopping, a plethora of restaraunts, and great indoor and outdoor recreation.  Being outside of the city allows for quiet nights where you can see the stars and a slower place when you are home.  It truely is the best combination of city and country living.
